St. Paul's United Church of Christ
Project 16:7
Project 16:7 is a ministry arm of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Evansville, IN. As part of our faith in Christ, we believe in following the command to go out, serve, and make disciples of all nations. At St. Paul's, we take seriously the idea that what we do to the least of those among us, we do unto Christ Himself. Project 16:7 takes that attitude and allows us to bring mission groups into our city to serve those in need and to be a physical embodiment of Jesus in the brokenness around us.

Our name stems from Mark 16:7, in which the disciples are told to go back to Galilee from Jerusalem. In doing so, the disciples are able to reconnect with the many people for whom Jesus has healed and changed in miraculous ways. It is our hope that the lives of both the participants and the lives of those in the community are transformed by the selfless serving of others as Jesus has.
